Setting up stock shocks fo mx!

I know I need aftermarket shocks but until I can afford to get some (hopefully Elkas) what would be the best set up for mx racing. I weigh 165/170.

    Post Stock shocks?

If all you have is stock shocks, well turn the preload all the way up in the front, and fine tune your rear to your specifications! Keep the rebound in the middle, dont wanna be bouncing everywhere!

No matter what you turn your preload too,,you'll bottom out the shocks either way,,I wouldn't turn them to full stiff,,,last time i did that with my stock shocks,,I came home with both of them blown..
