    Lightbulb Duals on a 300ex????

This is sorta an off-the-wall question and might sound stupid but Has anybody ever heard of this? I have seen a picture of it somewhere but can't remember where......I thought about taking the stock 400ex backwards "Y" header pipe and reversing it. i would have to cut and weld some, but if it is possible I will give it a shot? Any info will help. Thanks

me too..i'd love to have dual exhuast on my ex...it wouldn't be hard to hook up either, one side hooks to the normal silencer thing and the other side hooks to the tool thingy holes. i'd buy dual exhaust for mine if it was out.

DMC has a dual exhaust system for the 400EX except its only on one side with two outlets in the silencer. its not a slip-on you have to buy the full system because its not a 2 into 1 header that the silencer uses. check out dirt wheeles. its always usually in there somewhere. Good Luck!

I remember seeing a picture of the back end of a 400ex in DirtWheels that had the look of dual exhaust... But the owner of the 400ex actually made a tool box out of another stock 400ex exhaust muffler to simulate dual exhaust. Maybe that is what you saw?

From what I have heard about dual exhaust, it would really help you in top end... But you would sacrifice bottom end.

call me crazy but if you had a dmc pipe and took apart the two header pipes, then put one on the correct way and the other one coming out the otehr side, you may need an extension in the header port, but im sure it could be done, then just bring up the pipe to the back and hold it with the tool box
im sure it coudl be done, n probably not that hard to do

maybe somebody with a 400 engine around that move dup to a 426/450 and has free time haha
