    Angry bearing carrier...

well, I went out to do some routine maintenance to get ready for this nice long weekend...chain was a little slack, so I thought I'd tighten it up...and then this happened... Hopefully I'll have the new billet one in by Saturday...

Be gentle with your stock carrier...and make sure to look at it good if you buy a used quad...

Yea i never liked stock bearing carriers, it happend to me too, since then i've had a RAD double wide bearing carrier with a grease jerk, and i have an extra set of bearings & seals. Always a good idea to have a set of them dual wide bearings ready when ya need them.

    Question?

Just a quick question. I've been looking into the billet carriers and like the RAD design with zerk on the outside of the carrier. The question is does the grease fitting service the inside of the carrier with grease or does it grease the inside and outside as I know the stock carrier is notorious for sticking.

I'm not sure whether it lubes the outside or not...this is the one I got...

It looks like it may lube the outside as well...guess I'll find out in a few days when it gets here...
