    Police Escort

    Yesterday my brother and i were riding at our usual spot. To get there you have to pass through some nature preserve and where we ride i believe is just woods and not connected to the preserve. well anyway since we only have one quad i ride then get off and let him ride. So i was done and he gets on. I was sitting on a bench that is there under a tree while he was out. Then a helicopter passes over. I thought nothing of it. Then i realized it was a police helicopter so i figured it was going somewhere. Then it started to circle me. It came about 50ft in front of me and about 30ft from the floor. I was under a tree and figured they couldnt see me so pretended like nothing was going on when i knew they saw me. Then the helicopter started flying away and found my brother on the quad. He came up to me and goes "get on the back lets get out of here." So we started to ride out and the helicopter was following us abt 20ft high above us. When we got out of the gate we drove to my brothers car and loaded up so fast. The parking lot was empty and i thought the police were gunna land. That was the scariest thing ever. A HELICOPTER found us in the woods and escorted us out.

    I am guessing if we didnt leave they would have called a cop to go in there and probably gave us a fine and maybe impounded our quad.

    What can they do if i get my quad registered? Cant they only give me a fine and not impound it?

    Also do you think the helicopter got my brothers cars liscense plate number or anything like that?

    Same exact situation happened to me 2 year ago in Dawsonsprings KY, if anyone knows where that is.
    Well i noticed a Heli copter, an i was riding wit a blaster, my 300ex an a 440ex. well the heli tried to come down real low,
    an to see if they were following us we went to the nearest field an sat there, well here the heli comes, about to touch down...
    well we CUT out of there, but the way we lost the helicopter is on the way home like 100 yards off the trail there was a complex set of caves, that were underground, but a quad would go right through, kinda cool.. well we made it back to my house and we went out on a boat ride , lake broschere's, an when we got back there was 4 state police cars there.... LoL my grandpa basically told the cops that they could go on because they had no proof we were riding...
    it was kinda exciting but scary when you think of what woulda happened if we would have waited for them to land....

    wtf is the point in paying that much money for a helicopter to keep people from riding quads in a forrest? I know of a lot better things they could be doing other than keeping people from having fun for very little damage to the envirement.

    Nausty- i dont get it either.. they chased us for a good 3 hours, lol us visiting city boys dont give up so easily i pressume...lol
    they probably spent more then they could have gotten us for in just FUEL for that damn helicopter...

    Castor-400ex- do you know bobby and johnny lewis? they ran the KTM/polaris place down their.... they were real good guyz...
    they always hooked me up for the price they paid, just because i was their little neighbor.. they went out of buisness because of a family problem or sumthing...

    QuadTrix66- a good 12 gauge would take care of this problem...lol
    but i wouldnt suggest trying it unless ur a really good at hiding, or you wanna spend the rest of your life in prison....

    LoL that isnt mine, i wish it was but it isnt, i like it, but only if i had the money to do the mods, an still have a 400ex like i have now... that rap looks sweet with the rims i think... it is different...
