    Knobby Class

Looking at trying a TT race this year and was wondering about the knobby class. Is this at all the races? Are you allowed to have a sway bar? Wanting to try a TT race first without dumping a boat load of $$$$ into a new set of wheels and tires before I decided if this is something I want to do. What kind of tires are best for the knobby class. SHould I get a set or worn down mx tires or are tires with more tread better.

i have never even heard of a knobby class? if there is, it will save me some money yes you can use sway bars, lowering kits, anything like that. you best bet is to look up the rules in AMA. you should be able to find something there. if not, look at the track rules. hope it helps some...

The knobby tire class:: it's for beginners.
    NO swaybars/lowering/etc.

Use the tires that are on it. It's for fun and to try TT racing.
    Have fun.
