I'm racing district 5 this year. There is alot more tracks in d-5 so I think it will be better for me. I'll also be racing a few Dutchmen races in district 6.

Just curious if anyone won the challenge? I read somewhere if you completed it under the set time the prize was like $500.00.
Someone actually got within 8 seconds of winning the money. Joe said if anyone made it fairly close to it he'd give them the money. I'm not sure if he got it or not....

8 seconds. WOW! Can Joe do it under the time limit?
I was actually going to go to the April class but opted for the August one instead. Not much on cool weather but the temps there in August are probably going to make me regret that decision. Pretty stoked about going. From what you've said and others have said it's definitely worth it. BTW, what hotel did you stay at? Aslo, does Joe let you keep your quad at his place overnight? Forgot to ask him about that.
what do they do to make you faster .. thats a ton of money just to get a little better

Jeremy Lawson was the one that got within 8 seconds. And for those of you that dont know, he is now a Pro Racer. And i beleive it makes you more comfortable on the track, and little things that no one would think about, bike setup, diet and nutrition, training. Alot of things. One kid that works at Jannsen has done it before and he was there again, and even got faster. I dont really know how to explain it. But it was a hell of alot of fun.

Yeah I learned alot.... The front break thing is hard getting used to. I also don't like pointing my knee going into every corner. I found alot of the things he tought useful and somethings I didn't. I guess it all depends on what you're comfortable with.
