Atlantic Grand Prix Round 2 April 29 & 30 Dunmore PA is a GO!

Round#2 of the Atlantic Grand Prix Series Scheduled for Saturday and Sunday April 29 and 30 is a GO!

Minicycles, Motorcycles and PIT BIKE Races on Saturday April 29
Youth and Adult Quad Races on Sunday April 30.

The Dunmore Grand Prix at North American Warhorse is GO! We have planned two days of some really exciting racing.

The adult cross country course for both Quads and Bikes is between 8 and 10 miles in length. The trails are all NEW and are all MX quad wide. The terrain is a combination of 80% dirt and 20% rocks, again most of it is all new stuff.

This event is going to be more cross country in nature than our Barnegat event back on April 2 so be prepaired.

The start is on an asphalt parking lot right behind the largest Powersports shop east of the Mississippi and there’s plenty of parking for all!

Also if you have friends that don’t want to race, but would be interested in being a course worker for the day, We invite them to bring there Quad and we’ll give them a green vest and they can go up on the course with their quad and lend a hand as well as watch the event up on the mountain.

Again, hope to see you all out there on the weekend of April 29 and 30

I'm in the process of contacting the racers that won trophies and asking how would they like to recieve them.

    1. They can pick them up at the next event at NA Warhorse in Dunmore PA on the weekend of April 29th and 30th

    2. Or we can send them to the riders, but I was hoping that everyone would be willing to pick them up at the next race.

    Hey All,

I Just got in from connecting the course together.

It’s now about 9 miles in length and is mostly all new trails.

We’re running the new course in the valley section of the property where there is more soil and less rocks.

    Everything is MX Quad width.

This is going to be a great course and a lot of fun.

P.S. If anyone is wondering why I haven’t called them lately...it’s because I lost my cell phone with all my programmed contact numbers while working on the trail up at NA Warhorse.

    OK,

We just got back in from final trail layout on the NEW COURSE up at North American Warhorse.

Here’s the Deal...90% of the course is ALL NEW TRAIL!

The length of the course is 8+ miles.

50% of the course is old cart roads that haven’t been used in over a 100 years and the other 50% is fresh cut cross country trails.

Rocks? Yes we have some, but nothing like the event back in the fall of 2005.

We found an area where there isn’t any rocks and it’s about 3 miles of loamy soil and wide hilly woods.

If you have a MX Quad the trails are plenty wide.

If you have an MX bike...you don’t need bark busters!

For all those considering going we can almost guarantee that this is going to be one of the best PA events in years.

Hope to see you all at the race.
