Fmf Megamaxii Question

I HAVE A FMF MEGAMAXII PIPE ON MY 300EX, AND I AM RUNNING IT WITH NO DISCS ON THE END. EVERYONE TELLS ME THE MORE DISCS I HAVE ON THE MORE POWER I WILL GET. IS THIS TRUE? ALSO IF I WERE TO PUT THE DISCS BACK ON WOULD I HAVE TO REJET?

i dunno if you will need to rejet cause i dunno what your even running but it's just a trial and error thing anyways but as far as discs it depends on the application the more flowing your muffler is the more top end you'll gain but you loose torque with flow so if you run 8 discs or 12 you gain a buch of torque cause i'm sure you lacking alot of it when i ran my wb e-series with out the cap i lost alot of my bottom end so it's back on now, the only thing i can tell you is try it and leave it the way you like it best
