Other than the obvious (less power) they feel just like a lot like a 400ex.

You just have to find the method that works best for you.

Check this out for a few tips....

    i'm throwing the BS flag

you do not need a 400ex to ride wheelies

i learned how to ride wheelies on a 250x same thing as a 300ex and i rode them forever with a 250x/300ex and i still can its just as easy on a 400ex too and once you get the balance point down

how i used to do it on my 250x sit way back on the seat put it in first rev it up and dump the clutch thats how i used to do it. ride it threw first and into second and the throttle is so smoth

    just pratice

400s are just easier to wheely, i had a 93 warrior and reved all the way up and dumped the clutch. that was the only way to get a wheely out of it

    wheelies

Best way to start wheelin is to put your left foot in the back grab bar, you'll be able to feel the balance point easier, and it takes the fear out of landin backwards on your head.leave your right foot on the peg though so you can still work the back break to keep the front end down.If you do land on the back grab bar you'll pretty much just be standin up.

since i am right handed i found it easier to balance if i have my right foot in the grab bar and the left foot on the peg.im starting to get the hang of it useing the clutch and throttle to keep it in the balance point.too high slip the clutch a little.too low give it a little more gas
