    Regear with 20s?

Anyone regear with 20s for XC? Did you drop one in the front, or go up two in the rear? Or just one in the rear? Is it the same sprocket as the LTZ?? Anyone hear about using the Honda sprocket hub??

You could drop a tooth in the front if you need to. It uses the same front sprocket as the z400. I keep stock gearing with 20s because im light. Ive heard the rear sprocket from the honda doesnt work but i cant be for sure.

Just talked to the owner of Sidewinder today. The Front Sprocket is TOTALLY DIFFERENT than the Z400, so is the rear Sprocket.
    I ordered a 13 tooth front, I believe the stock is 14.

I called them a week ago and informed them that Z400 owners are taking their smaller front sprockets and putting them on the LTR and it fits perfect. They thanked me for the info. They stated that they would not have a sprockets for the LTR for 2 weeks as they had the specs and were in the process of coming uip with the design.

I think what heppened is that you just got one of their Z400 front sprockets.

I was just letting you know what Sidewinder told me yesterday. They said they're totally different? I don't know, I don't have a Z400.

No problem. Their employees need to talk to one another is all. There have been several individuals who have replaced their 14 tooth with the 13 tooth they were running on their Z400.

It's the same when you ask them if you need to run race fuel with the Yoshi, CRBM and airbox lid removed. Some Yoshi employees say yes and some say no. I know that it runs lean so I'm definately running race fuel in mine until I get the PIM.

Actually, I talked to the owner. Vic Krause, he' s nice old dude... I met him at the ATV Worlds Fair in Lousiville. He's sending me a 13 front regardless if it's the same as the LTZ, I'm just pumped to get my new ITP GNCC tires, Black ITP Beadlocks, 13 front sprocket to see how this sucker will pull in the woods.

i found the stock 18" is a bit slow at top speed. changed to 20" rear, is alot faster at top speed now. More to my liking for XC but also noticed a los in power. Is doing my first XC race this weekend and will then see if I will change the front sprocket or not...
and 22" dont fit with the stock heelguards.

I am currently running a 13T Z400 Sunstar sprocket on ours...fits just fine....IMO it is geared too low now with 21" paddles with a 66" rollout.

I am patiently waiting for the rear sprockets to be released as I feel a 37 or 38 with stock 14T front will be ideal for us.
