    How about a "ATC" 250r?

Hey how about a "ATC" 250r? Spent about a year polishing striping and painting from frame-up! Built for dunes, The front wheel is a sand rail dune tire and rim, Delta froce, ported polished big bore! extended rear, if it was aluminum it was polished! Don't send hate mail,, but this thing was a quad eater!!

I can't remember who made them; some off brand. I had to modify their mounts so they bolt up like propegs, otherwise the R's a bit cramped for a 6'2" rider.

I like it, though some mounts were omitted or mis-located and I had to get creative in a couple of places. It's also starting to crack on both sides in front of the foot pegs, but it's got a few years on it.

Even though this is pretty old, I'm pretty sure I know why they broke. It might of been caused by Hydrogen Embrittlement, This happenes when parts are chromed.

Here's an article on it. Doesn't discuss quads, but it's still true.

Keep an eye on the steering stem bearing mount for cracks where it welds to the frame.

I'll be a post whore, these have been posted on here at least once.

I like the action pics. Here's the race quad in action.

    I like third gear wheelies.....

For those who have never seen it, no post would be complete without the resto.
