    Determining

    I know I have asked this question many times about jetting. I have a 04 400ex with an HMF full system and I am running a UNI air filter with the lid ON. I got my jetting pretty close, but i still dont think it is correct. I am running a 152 main and a 42 pilot currently. When i pull the plug it is black and a little wet looking. I am not very experienced with 4 strokes. Can someone tell me how to get my jetting perfect.

    im sure u know about teh pilot running 1/8 - 1/4 throttle and the needle running about 1/4 - 2/3, and the main running about 3/4 - pinned, i think thats about right, anyways, u need to check your jetting for each section of the throttle,

    run 3/4 to pinned throttle wide open for 10-15 second , stop immediately by killing it with the switch and holding the clutch while it rolls to stop and pull the plug immediately

    repeat for each circuit

    circuits =1 pilot/ 2 needle/ 3 main

    also make sure your air mixture screw is about 2.5 - 3 turns out after being slightly bottomed
