2006 lt 50 governer (spell?)

just woundering if anyone knows how to take the governer off of a 2006 model 50, the old ones had a carb and exhaust plates but, the new ones have something in the tranny or something, any help would be great!

I just did this to my daughters 2006 50. Its very easy to do. sitting on the bike its on the left side. Take the plastic off and the side clutch cover off. There is one nut that you take off and the clutch will slide out. There is a small spacer in there that needs to be removed and then put it back together again. Maybe 20 minutes to do.

I think the o3 had a wire that needed cut and a washer in the exhaust to govern it down but I am not sure. They did a bunch of new stuff to the 06
