    flat colors

    pappy,
i was watching discovery channel the other night and on one of the bike building shows the team used a flat/matte blue powdercoat on all of their parts. from what i saw on the tv, i think it looked really cool and was definitly something original to me. do you have any matte/flat colors other than black? have you ever done stuff with this style of pc?

    thanks

edit: heres a shot of that bike

i will look thru the color charts and see if i can find anything close by going off the picture.

one thing to watch with some of these colors is that they are not UV resistant. On a street bike that is pampered and babbied they dont do bad, but on a quad that will see more abuse and alot more harsh cleanings the color can "chalk" faster. I can add a satin clear that will help but it will not completely do away with the problem. (dont be too worried, i just tend to try and tell people upfront everything i know about certain colors and you shouldnt have any problems at all)
