    racing a bayou 220

    im thinking about racing my bayou 220 in a 6 hour race with two other friends. i know how to ride good sence i race and the guys goin to be racing with me have raced also. i was just wondering what wit the best way to start off racing it and i have no $ to start off with to mod it at all cuse its all goin to my 3 other race quads.

    Racing and Bayou220 dont belong in the same sentence.

    what are the 3 other quads that you have? Maybe race one of those.

    there mx quads that i race aready. ltz400,trx300ex,trx90. the only reason i say the bayou cuse its a quad that we all are cofortable on.

    I think it'd be cool to do personally. i'm gonna trick out my bayou eventually.
    2006 Yamaha YFZ 450* nMotion full exhaust system/ Taper oversized handlebars/ UNI air filter/ AC Racing nerfs with built in heel guards/ Lonestar Racing +2 axle/ Full Flight Racing Long Travel +2 A-Arms.

    1990 Ford F150- Long travel suspension and some other goodies!

    1989 Ford F150 Short n' Wide- Hot little 302 in it with a 4 speed

    2004 Pontiac GT0- 5.7- port and polished ls2 heads, 2002 Zo6 intake manifold, pacesetter longtube headers, hurst short throw shifter, eaton 3.91 posi, Diablo tuner....and yes its straight piped....sorry im not cool enough to waste my money on custom mufflers or canisters, whats the point when everybody always compliments on how good it sounds right?!

    I had a bayou and it's a peppy bike. It is probably going to get really bumpy race because the rear end has no suspension travel

    thats y i am not racing it any more. it has a nice motor but not suspention to realy back it up. im goin to be on my all long travel 300ex

    Hey don't diss bayou's. Those things are awsome! Reliable as hell. If I ever have money to blow I might do somethin with mine... But after paying off a truck I think I'll look for a sport quad to fit in the back!
