I noticed on my stock suspension that there is a lot of play in the bushings. I heard this is common and their is even more on aftermarket shocks. Is this anything to worry about?

My 400EX has virtually zero play in any of the suspension compontents...
What part of your suspension has play in it?
Leo
You know the world is going crazy when France is accusing the US of arrogance, and Germany doesn't want to go to war.
Just the lower front shock mounts. All of the other suspension has no play. I heard that these wear out because mostly all of the abuse the lower mounts take.
Aftermarket shocks I think have play in them too. Does anyone know???
I've punished my stock shocks and not had any play in their bushings.
Works shocks have very poor lower bushings and you will replace them OFTEN.
The more expensive shocks like Axis & Elka have better bushing setups that don't require as much replacement & fit better as well.
