    HMF slip on- Jetting???

    Okay.. quick question..

    My buddy's got a 05 450R.. its all stock.. he bought the HMF bill balance slip on for it... id like to know what people are running for jetting specs with a slip on and maybe a open air box lid or HRC lid? please help! thank you..
    2005 450r - Trail tech X-bars handlebars and clamp, Rossier full system exhaust, UNI air filter, HRC jet kit, IMS custom classic bumper, Pro Armor chassis skid plate, AVS clutch lever..

    2.5-3 turns out on the mixture screw, 50 pilot is recommended, HRC needle is better but I have done them with a stock needle and that should be on the 3rd position from the top, and HRC Lid on: 160 main, Open Lid:172 main. What is your elevation? That will help me get you closer on jetting but what I said above is what I have done on the 04'-05' 450's and will be close.

    Go to www.hmfengineering.com - go to the "FORUM" section and look up the jetting specs for your application.
