Built by a big name engine builder? Anywhere from 29-33HP.

I get 30-32 dyno'd out of the rear wheels on my 11:1 330ex.

If a 298 is running 13:1 it should be getting about the same power than I am. So his estimate isn't that far off. These are both FULLY built motors. Port, polish, cam, CDI, valves, springs, HC piston, carb, pipe, filter, etc...

Most of the big guys that have been around a while can get that power out of a 250x/300ex. Sparks, FST, DASA, etc..

Remember in the 1990's, the warrior and 300ex/250x were your 4-stroke choices for racing. There's been a LOT of R&D on these 2 quads.

IMHO, Sparks probably is your most experienced 300ex builder. I have an FST engine. Great engine, but if I were to do it again, I'd go with sparks on the 300ex.

Powroll only does kits, no work.
