Dirt wheels listed the YFZ at like 33 hp, and the TRX at 35hp.

What tires did you use on your dyno test? I believe DW mag still had there knobbies on, thus lower numbers.

Yeah, a good pair of tires should add 4-5 hp. I also thought it was odd that a +5 hp TRX across the spread couldn't win a drag race either.

That dyno looks like it was drawn in with a ruler and a crayon. Dirt Wheels dyno graphs are garbage in my opinion. That's if you can even get them to produce one; they take up too much add space.

Oh please. That dyno graph is right on given the set up they did. I will say most people believe too much of the hype and bs in that magazine.

Dirt wheels sucks! There was several things in that article that where just plane wrong, especially in the specs!
The dyno is off, as not only did they use knobbies, but they where different tires all together. Also, I think the way the yfz was tied down was bogus, as it has almost NO vertical restraint! the trx had all the verticle restraint in the world! To me, if they are not restained properly, you are going to get inaccurate numbers due to possible wheel spin.
Just my opinion though. I think that mag sucks though. They are always misleading or just plane WRONG!
