    Scrambler 500 vs. ds650

I made a bet with a friend that a ds650 will murder a scrambler 500. He won't believe me. He thinks that because it has a pvt tranny that it would kill a ds650. Im right, right?

The ds will win unless you race on ice for six feet. I just sold my scrambler(loved it) but they will not run with a ds.

the scrambler 500 is a sport utility vehicle that is great for mudding and trail riding, but it will not contend with a ds650 in a straightline drag. the ds650 has a rotax motor that puts out i believe around 45-50hp. the scrabler would probalby get beat by about 5 lengths in a 300ft drag.

what kind of race? if it is a deep mud bog, then my money is on the scrambler, otherwise the ds.

the pvt belt tranny is a joke...if an auto tranny were as fast at accelerating as a manual, then everyone would be running them, but they are not...
