    Here is a link to the very first start up after mod'n this bike..we also added a WB's rev box, and a WB's pipe.

    The 300EX and 400EX carbs are NOT the same if I remember right. The cable for the 300EX comes right in throught the top of the carb and is connected to the slide (and needle), but the 400 throttle cable works the slide via linkage.

    The overall procedure is basically the same for working on either carb, only difference is how and where the throttle cables attach.

    Yeah I think you are right... the carbs are a little different, but the overall way of jetting should be close if not the same.

    Death, is that the stock carb you were working on? I changed the main in my carb a few months back, and it didn't have the smaller round jet screwed into the end of it like the pic shows.
