Polaris Introduces Revolver Sport Quadricycle Concept

    Polaris Revolver Concept

Medina, MN - (12/9/05) - Many of the ATVs currently sold in Europe are homologated for on-road use as “quadricycles”. Virtually all of today’s rider active, street-legal, homologated quadricycles are off-road vehicles that have been adapted for on-road use. With the Revolver concept, Polaris proposes a new solution – A purpose built vehicle designed to deliver good off-road performance combined with a new level of on-road capability.

Revolver provides an awesome new experience with an uncommonly urban edge of sharp, aggressive attitude. A powerful 500cc liquid-cooled 4-valve engine stands at the ready, while a 5-speed transmission, disc brakes and massive, meaty tires see to it that the maximum amount of power goes where it should – both on and off-road.

Revolver doesn’t stop there. A super-duty suspension with a radically lowered and widened stance guarantees absolutely superior any-road cornering. Plus, its hydraulic steering dampener and long wheelbase add even more stability on all surfaces. In addition, Revolver is designed to allow a passenger to come along on the ride.

The design of the Polaris Revolver includes such appointments as supple Italian leather seating, low-profile “floating” fender designs, modular deep-dish alloy wheels and stunning “light ring” headlights. Every sculpted detail works in concert with one another to create a look and feel that reflects the unheard of experience and attitude this vehicle provides.

What’s more, state-of-the-art iPod® instrumentation and entertainment system will see to it that you and your passenger are always in tune with your ride.

The Revolver concept debuted at the Paris Motorcycle Show earlier this month.

The Motorcycle Design Association nominated the Revolver as one of eight vehicles to be considered for their “Best of Show” award.

Revolver could be the quadricycle of the future…and the future might be a lot closer than you think
