My buddy owns one and it has great power in 2 and 4 wheel drive. Sounds like a jet when it revs up and goes down the road because of the v-twin engine. It also was the ATv 4x4 of the year in Dirtwheels mag for 2005.
Too much power? What is that?

I think he made a good choice if he wants an IRS machine. I also prefer the P700, but that is just me. I lean more toward the racer utes, and have no intrest in big tires and deep mud. To each their own, as long as your having fun!

BTW, there is a guy that posts on here with a BF750 racer that is really sweet. Can't recall his name at the moment.

Make sure to check out the ATV Mud Mania website for updated pics of me riding on the monster grizz. We just got done doing a photo shoot for ATV Rider Magazine...it was pretty cool.

I was gonna go with the grizz, but they have the least rear wheel horsepower out of all the bigbores.........
I read back and saw this. I ran my grizz against several other big bores and put up more power. At mobile dyno I beat out Rincons, 700 Twinpeaks, KQ's, 700 Polaris', etc...pretty much everything we ran it against in the 600-700 range it was beating it...and those are all twins vs. a single...except for the KQ I believe....

Anyhow...the grizz is not the weakest big bore on the market. That's the Rincon's place.

As far as mudding goes I put the King Quad on the bottom and the Rincon right above it. Those are my bottom two for mud.

If I was to get a big bore utility atv right now it would either be the Prairie 700 or the Grizzly 660. JMO

The Grizz is obsolete for anything but mud. The King is basically an updated Grizz improved in every way except ground clearance. If you think you need a Grizz and do something other than ride pure mud, scratch out "Grizz" and write in "King Quad." Look at them--Yamaha should sue for patent infringement.

BTW there is one of each in my garage so I am more than qualified to say this.

That King Quad does look pretty darn good in black! Looks I need to do some homework on this atv.
