1999 Honda Recon

I used to own a 1999 Recon and i sold it to a buddy of mine and b4 i gave it to him i washed it and when i took it for a drive to dry it off i got back turned off the key but the engine didnt shut off but the lights and the neutral shift inidicator light did. I washed it with a pressure washer and hot water i was thinkink that maby the key switch might have went bad. Dunno? But i would like to know because i he wants to no.

I would say the key switch is working since the lights went out. Most likely the wire between the ignition and the coil is wet. Let it dry out a few days and it should be fine. I suggest not getting so aggressive with the power washer next time. I use a pressure washer on my quads, but I am carefull not to get too close to any vital parts.
