    2006 Honda TRX450R, Suzuki LT-R450, Yamaha YFZ450 Specifications Comparison

Now that the big three manufacturers all have 450cc Sport ATVs, I figured it would be nice to have the specs most talked assembled side by side, and hopefully it can help you decide which one is right for you.

Let me know if this was of any help, and I may do it for other machines. Also, if you would like to see another spec on the chart let me know, and I will try to have it added.

This cant be 96.6mm X 62.8 mm .The honda is 96X62 and 450 cc. This would make the Suzuki a 460 or something?

I agree, but this is the spec from their site

I agree either the bore or stroke are incorrect, but I can't make the call to which is actually right or wrong.

Yea.. that's what they always use. Skidplate height will probably be around 4.5" - 5" or so.

Making this assumption from.. 18" dia rear tires. 190mm rear brake rotor. (7.5" dia.) add a 1/4" clearance and 1/8" material thickness of skidplate.

    You'll have (18.0"/2) - (7.5"/2) - (0.25") - (0.125") = 4.875" (4 7/8") clearance.

This is assuming, of course, that the brake rotor is larger in dia. than the rear sprocket. But, in reality the sprocket with chain mounted is probably larger, so I'd pull off another 3/4" or so.

I saw 95.5mm bore, which puts displacement at 449.84 cubic centimeters.

    Please explain.
This is the most MX ready quad on the market. All you need to race MX on this quad is number plates. The headlight is even removable.

Most riders will just change the bars, levers, exhaust and revalve the shocks. This is so it suits them individually.
