What kind of air filter are you running?

The problem is your running lean. 148/150DJs are too small. When you put on a full pipe along with a K&N (no lid), the Rappy likes FAT jets. Don't let anyone tell you different cause their Rappys are slow. Call Dynojet and buy a 155, 160, 165, 170, and 175 DJs. They are only $2 apeice from Dynojet. I would only use DJs with their needles because they are shaped (tapered) more for their own needles. I had 165/170DJs in my 05 and NEVER been beat by another piped Raptor and terrorized piped 450s too...........both kinds.........

......or you can try this. Make sure your air/fuel screws are out at least 2 3/4 turns and with those main jets (148/150) make sure your needles are at least on the 4th clip and if they are, try putting them on the 5th. I still beleive your main jets are too small but your problem sounds like its more in the mid range. Its probably ok to run those MJs but it just won't revv like it would if it had bigger jets.
