    01 tranny problems

I have a friend with an 01 Raptor and he wants to sell it to me. Right now it's torn down because it chewed up 3rd gear and so he is going to be puttin its 4th transmission in it. He said he will sell it to me all rebuilt for around $2200, but I'm not sure. Is there any way to fix the transmission problem that they have?

Tell him to buy an 02' tranny kit. Its a conversion mod and costs about $500-700. But, I'd probably just try to find an 02 raptor. 02's are going real cheap these days.

Yes you can get 02s for cheap, but not for $2000 locally

I also just remembered that it has a slight tweak in the frame. It is tweaked enough to where the headstay mounts dont line up. I was wondering how to fix this. I know you can put a comealong on it and pull, but how exactly do you do that without the rest of the bike/frame moving?
