    Model year check Vin No

    How do you check what model year your raptor is from its vin number?

    Call the dealership and give them the vin number and they will tell you what year it is

    somewhere i read that the 10th number/letter of the vin number correspons to the year ie 4 = 2004, 5 = 2005, is this correct?

    yep 10th number is always the year, so example

    *********5*******

    would be a 2005
