Buren also freshly cut several new sections of track though the dense woods, which are extremely tight and rugged.

    Morning Results

4 Stroke Stock Class riders once again dominated the Wisp with Mark Rhodes leading the way to the Overall win once again by several minutes after getting out front early and never looking back.

Meanwhile the battle was on between Chris Neal, Jarrod McClure, and Harlen Foley as these riders swapped positions back and forth throughout the race.

The track was even more brutal than expected and bottlenecks formed in several sections of the track which claimed several of the front runners including Traci Cecco as she found herself stuck on the side of the hill. Angel Atwell was able to get out front and pull away as a huge bottleneck had around 50 stopped. Mark Rhodes made it through early, and with Harlen Foley in 2nd place with Chris Neal right behind him.

Harlen was able to make it up the hill around Traci with Chris right behind him, but only a few hundred yards later Harlen caught his rear tire on a rock which sent him over the bars and flipping down the hill knocking him out of breath as Chris Neal rode by and checked on him. Harlen remounted his Suzuki and after he regained his breath and started the charge back after Chris.

Meanwhile, Jarrod McClure moved back in a battle with Harlen as they came upon bottleneck after bottleneck which had them swapping the 3rd overall spot back and forth. With only two miles to go, Harlen held 3rd Overall, but another bottleneck brought him to a stop while Jarrod found the quicker line and took over the spot.

Jarrod pulled a several second lead over Harlen as they headed to the finish line with Jarrod taking the final podium spot and Harlen finishing 4th overall

Angel Atwell took her first women's class win of the year easily after Traci ended up flipping as well and Stephanie Parton broke off her footpeg early in the race.

Doug Henke once again won the Utility Unlimited class and finished amongst the top riders.

The complete results from the Morning race will be posted shortly, so stayed tuned for live coverage from the afternoon race which we will attempt to bring you lap by lap.
