Boondockers is a nice bolt in kit for the casual user. If you arent mechanically inclined, this is the kit for you. Max of a 20 hp shot with the included nozzle, but it really cant handle any more than that even with a bigger pathway.

Good kit, works well and pretty reliable. Just limited in the capabilities and power availible.

So MD, is it worth the $700?

Am I going to feel a significant difference?

I already have bigger jet inside 165 & 170 which came with the LTE

I also have all increments higher until 190 in case.

Is there a set jetting for the BDNos?

Yeah its worth the dough if you are a nitrous fan. Install instructions can be viewed on the boondockers website so check them out before you buy so you know what you are getting into.

    Hey MD,

Do I need to bypass the rev limiter for this system?

And if I do please tell me what to do.

You dont HAVE to use any aftermarket cdi's and that is the only way to bypass the 9k rpm rev limiter. The reverse rev limiter shouldnt have any connection to the system. Many people like to run programmable cdis to maximize the nitrous boost.

Depending on your headwork and cam profile you may or may not hit the limiter. If you are hitting it in more than first gear before the kit then you may want to look into a new cdi. It takes a lot of cam to hit the limiter so unless you're close now you should be fine.

    MD,

Right now I do hit the limiter without it...especially 1st and 2nd gear.

Will the BDN work ok if im in 5th gear @ 80+ mph and then hit the nitrous, or will it be okay in any gear?

Without knowing the porting and cam specs of your bike I cant make an educated guess but I dont think you'll see the rev limiter if you hit it in 5th. Your bike probably stops making power around 7500 rpm so just before that would probably be the best time to hit the go button.
