    what is the easist locknut to take off and put back on ?

    I think he means what brand of lock nut is the easiest to deal with.

    i like LSR myself, but factory ones are GARBAGE.. you take them off once, and they'll never stay tight ever again

    unless yours is broke use the stock one i personally have ever had and problem with them just tighten them back up and wrap some electrical tape around them and it wont come apart. i have done it to all three of our ex's and both my friends quads.
    04 450r- bored card ported head stage three hotcam rossier exhaust K&N filter.
    05 450- web cam rossier exhaust K&N filter
    01 400ex- custom regrind web cam full hmf exhaust K&N filter TC rev box. R shocks
    00 400ex- ported head stage two hot cam K&N filter.

    i made one for a friend before i bought my 400...if you have access to metalworking machines, find an aluminum nut the size you need, then put it on a mill and drill 2 holes through, counterbore them and thread the holes and find some allenhead nuts....i even cnc'd RAD into it for him, you couldnt even tell the difference.

    stock ones just flat out suck!...I have always had Lonestar...I just orderd a RPM to try out though..
