if you really wanted you could somehow rig the setup from a drz-400 kickstart crank case. i dont know if it would work but it would cost a fortune

theres no way to just put a kicker on it....theres no hole for it or anything,but you could do it if you had alot of money to waste...lol btw jw, why does he want kick start?

Yeah tell him its a 450 R Honda otherwise he is not that bright. The compression on modern 4 strokes is high and once he kicks them a few times he will want his starter back. Let me guess he want reverse gone also. Just go buy the Honda, the ONLY reason i bought a Z400 was because it has ELECTRIC START AND REVERSE, otherwise i would have bought the Honda.

the only reason i would want one is so i have a backup incase the starter goes tits-up.
Decompression lever helps doesnt it.
Sorry, but my 450r is so easy to start its scary..
