I like it clean too. How do you like the quality of your swing arm? They claim it's only 6lbs 8oz's for a stock 03 length. That's a nice wieght loss program.

The swing arm looks like it is well made. I have not yet ridden it yet so the jury is still out on the final answer.
I did have an issue with the skid plate mounts they welded on for me. It seems that they use the 04 style of mounting and the 03 shock will not fit it. Polaris changed the way the shock is built in 04. They went with a longer eye area and a shortened, stiffer spring. This was done to get some space for the new style skid plate which is completely different than the 03 style.
Mine was the first one that they had made with a skid plate for an 03 and they did not realize that the shocks were different until after they had shipped it.
Seeing how I am not going to go out and buy a 04 shock just to run the skid plate I cut the front mounts off for the time being and they are going to make me a new swinger and custom made me a skid plate to go with it!
Well the real issue is the the 03 has these two pieces of c channel that mount the factory skid plate up by the shock. The channels run along the bottom of the stock square tube frame, which is about 2 1/2 in. thick. The new swinger is nowhere near that thick so you would have to fab up some goofy looking plate to run the 03 style skid plate. The 04 factory mount is more typical of the rest of the industry in that they just use 4 mounting lugs to mount the plate. The problem is the the 03 shock interferes with the front mounts so Polaris redesigned the shock to clear the new skid plate mounts.
Instead they will just offer their own skid plate design for those people that want one on their 03 preddy. They are also working with an aftermarket manufacture to come out with a new skid plate the works with their swinger so that they don't have to make their own.
It really comes down to how much demand they have for 03 swingers with skid plates, as most guys that are running an extended swing arm are running out in the sand only and have no need for a skid plate.
um guys this is kinda embarassing to ask so im just gonna do it ! i feel stupid for not knoing alrady!!! what is a swing arm!! there i did it i got it over with !!! now please tellme !
