MHSC round 6 Missouri Dirt Riders Westphalia,MO 5/14/05

Round 6 got under way with another beautiful 70 degree day. The Missouri Dirt Riders group set up the track and put this awesome course together. Here's some of the officials by the signup tent. 130 riders were heading to the line to get this thing started.

Here's a shot of some of the pit area set up along both sides of the road. Most of the riders had completed their practice lap and were anxious to get under way.

Riders picked their starting positon while family members like Sage and Pat Johnson waited to tell their riders good luck one more time.

Rick Stroup from the Missouri Dirt Riders group gave the riders meeting. The course would be about 8 1/2 miles.

The Missour Dirt Riders are infamous for their starts and didn't disappoint as the made the riders get off their quads and line up behind for a run to the quad start. Here's the AA jumping on their quads.
