    300ex teather kill problems

    i have bought a teather kill swith and everytime it is pulled it fries the fuse. how are you hooking it up to stop it. it says will not work with a battery operated ignition.

    you'll have 2 by a relay switch that makes it run properly so you don't fry electricals

    i forgot to ask how would you wire a relay switch and what is the porpose.

    Haven't had any problems with mine blowing fuses. Basically, you have to run one wire to a frame ground, then the other wire to the black wire that comes out of the coil. It'll have a yellow stripe on it.

    do they come with a kick start? if so then do it the old fashioned way u lazy people

    i have a gunnar kill switch and a pro design and bolth fry the fuses do i hook the pro design to a black and yellow or black and gray

    If you hook it to the Black and Yellow-striped wire that comes out of the coil, then you should not be blowing fuses. Make sure that when you have it hooked onto there, that you have the other wire connected to a good, solid ground on the frame. I blew a couple fuses trying to hook mine up. But then I found out I was doing it wrong. Make sure you have it connected to the lead coming out of the coil, the one that's mounted on your framerail right in front of your motor.

    if its a pro-design run the ground to the coil and the hot wire to the pulse trigger wire coming from the stator(I think its the blue/yellow one), like the directions say, do not cut in to your coil wires
