Here is my 300ex with hand guards! They come in real handy trail riding they have saved my hands soooo many times from branches. I also think that the keep your hands a little wormer in the winter aswell.

I'm not sure what brand those are or what they cost, but the Maier hand guards are almost identical and they are the best price I've seen so far. Should cost about $33 from your dealer. Just bought a set for my ol' lady. I've had mine for about 5yrs and am more than happy with them.
