    how much horsepowes does a 400ex have?

    i was wondering if any body knows how much power a 400ex has when stock? thnx

    Mine is around 34hp with all the stickers and whatnot.

    I think a stock 400ex is around 27-28. I have seen peoples dynos range from 22-33 on a stock 400, so I guess it is all on who dynos them.

    It depends on the dyno and the conditions. So the only accurate way to compare them is to run other quads with them.


    I dont remember where I got these numbers for sure, but they will give you the idea of what I mean. I believe they were on the same dyno.

    damn i thought i would have more thats ok a 416 and a stage 2 cam should be good but give me a couple of months to get some money together

    I like the dyno index it is cool and very informative, gotta get one of those power wheels, the one I had when I was a kid dynoed at .993 srwhp and only weighed 28 lbs, that is .0355 horsepower per pound meaning it was a close race with a quad sport.
