    New/Used YFZ450 Motor

Need a new or used motor bad for a YFZ450. If anyone knows where I could find one please let me know. Yami wants 5500 +/- just in parts to rebuild the engine.

Also: I know, I should have bought a Honda. I strayed and look what it got me!!! I'll be back riding red very soon.

It's possible. The only things that were salvagable were the heads and the clutch. Everything else was pretty tore up. Not sure why you would want it but I'll let you know as soon as I know the outcome with what I do with it. Contacting Yamaha Corporate today to see if there is any recourse or not?????

good luck with the conversion. Let me know how you like the engine once you get a chance to ride it.

Yea I will definately let you know how I like it..I am about 85% done..I am just waiting on a few parts and a custom oil tank and I will have it out..I will then ride it hard for about a week and then strip it down and check for cracks in the new welds for the motor mounts..If no cracks then it will get PC'd.
