    They give you more.

There is a reason they use the fcr's on the yzf, crf, drz, rmz and ktm hi performnace 4 strokes. Its beacuse its the best 4 stroke carb out there right now. Trust me if there was anything better out there they would use it.

    carb

just put a eichner 440 series edelbrock on my quad this week and love it, had to go up on my main jet but working great. i took it to the builder of my engine and let him ride it and he was real happy with the upgrade. and coming from ben jackson that is something.

I was thinking about doing the FCR39 carb, but i was just wondering if it would make that much of a difference, and if it would just increase top end, or low end as well..

after the mod of the new carb and all the mods to to engine i gained all the way through, with the longer swing arm i can now float the front through the first 3 gears and stay beside a modified 660 raptor. no one can tell me a 400ex can"t play with the bigger dogs in the yard or anywhere else. the eichner series carb is great and after grinding out my throttle housing , paper thin to get all the throttle , this 400ex>>>>>>>> ROCKS.

    throttle housing

open up your throttle housing and push the throttle wide open and grind away where the pivot hits the housing, you will make it thin but you will get more throttle and that is what it is all about.
