    250 vs 300 ex

i have a 250 ex and want to race it in harescrambles. it has a k and n filter, holeshots on the rear, renthal bars, and dg nerfs. ive never raced or ridden a 300 ex and i was wonderin wat i would have to do to make it run w/ them in a race. i dont want to bore the engine.

well a pretty big one..especially if the 300 is piped which most 300's that race are. there is a 40-50 some CC difference between the two but if i were you i would get a full pipe, and a jet kit and then just ride your race
