    Question help on axle removal!

    How do i take the stock axle out..i have my wheel hubs off... i have been tryin to loosen the big nut on the axle but it seems really tight..what do i do? thanks

    its a reverse trhead, amke sure your loosening it not tightening it, there is also a tiny snap wring inside you have to remove

    so what your saying is.....do i need to remove the snap ring first or loosen the big fat nut (instead of going the loosening way, i go the tightening way, right?) its really tight, i have a big adjustable wrench on it and it isnt moving any..its a pain...

    thats correct loosen the big fat one first and the threads are backwards on it once its loose keep turning it until you see the snap ring.yank the ring and slide all the goodies out and your in!!!!!

    yeap, papaw is exactly right, my only other advice is to get a couple big pipe wrenches and some pipe to use for leverage, that boldt is TOUGH to move
