March 6th marked the 1st Western Idaho State series. We are starting to see and abundance of Qaud racing in the state of Idaho this year. This is only one of several series that is being offered to quads and for that I thank each and everyone for there supporting the quads and giving us a place to race . Riders are now starting to take notice and we are seeing new riders show up frequently now.
This round was held in Glenns Ferry Idaho . Track Owners Tag and Robin Hawks. They are the ones who brought WORCS to Idaho last year for the Payette Idaho Round for the first ever "quads only".They also have a Track that Ill be covering in Mountain Home Idaho .
We had great weather for most of the day Temps in the 60's .We had riders for Mens, womens and mini classes .The Pro turn out was small as well as the minis . We set a record for approx. 14 ladies for an MX race!
Alot of the ladies are new to racing this year and I am very excited to see all the girls getting hooked .
The day did have some carnage and we did have a couple of riders down who did have to seek medical attn. unfortunatly, but nothing too serious.
The track is a fun track! its got lots of good jumps, whoops, dbls and triples.
