250EX shocks

i was wondering if anybody else had a problem with their stock shocks on their 250EX squeaking. it is only my front now but i have no clue how to stop it. i took the shock off and cleaned it. it went away for about 5 min and then came right back. i think it might be the bushings, what about you?

i know what you mean, its only when i havent ridden it in a few days and when i first start riding. after about an hour the squeaking goes away. ive tried lube, oil, cleaning them, i am stumped as to why they squeak

my shocks sqeak to. but i want to get some works shocks as soon as i fix my axle.

yes in fact my front shocks squeeked for a little while too then i took it to the shop and spent a pretty penny getting everything fixed up.. it was worth the money.

is there a reason that the shocks are squeaking

mine squeek sometimes but usually only when u ride for awhile ya wd-40 helps out bunches.

mine dont squeak.

Thats prob because i hardly ever ride it

i wouldn't use wd-40 on shocks, use some spray on lithium grease, it will work
