    Top speed isn't what matters....... Its how quickly you get there that counts. Top speed will change with gearing.

    just yesterday, i put my GPS on my buddies 04 Dale Jr Predator,,,flat pavement 3 runs,,,stock, 75.7mph,,,then we put a 36T on the rear and 77.8mph,,,hitting the rev limiter each run in 5th,,

    i no this is kind of old but what about a pred running 97 octane

    somebody told me that a prdator on 97 octane hit 95

    97 Octane will not increase your top speed!

    2005 TLD Predator: I have gone 1 tooth down on the front and with the gps on the bars will hit 69mph in a field. On pavement it might be better but I think I would hit the rev limiter. My buddies 450R with 1 tooth down on the front will run 71 but I get there sooner. I have tried many different fuels and my quad seems to like 91 octane the best.

    htey are right 97 octane wont help your top speed because you can still only rev up to where your ignition lets you, but your top speed will change with different gearing, or if you got a different ignition/cdi box that let you rev higher because then your engine would turn your tranny faster which would turn the sprockets faster then you would go faster....
