    Question battery cover removal

I do all of my riding in the dunes and I was wondering if it is ok to remove the "chincee-looking" plastic battery cover?

Are you talikng about the rubber mudflap over the battery on the new 400's? If so go ahead and ditch it. The older ones didn't have that crap on them.

LOL that rubber 'flap' is funny isn't it? I left mine on, but I modified it so that it's just not hanging in the breeze...

It seemed very 'un-honda' to me when I picked up my 400..

If I only ran the quad in the sand that would have been gone a long time ago.

You know the world is going crazy when France is accusing the US of arrogance, and Germany doesn't want to go to war.

I saw a new 400 this weekend with one of those, but mine did not come with one . . . maybe the guy who assembled mine at the dealer 'lost' it?
