Anyone off to Moses for the long weekend? Ive never been there for Memorial day and I've heard it's a pain in the a@@ just to get a pass with bike and helmet safety inspections and stuff but I gotta try out my paddles!
if you want to try your new paddles dont take them to moses the sand is hard in most spots unless you ride over in the pot holes area and it gets pretty nuts in the camping area with bottles and cans on the ground mostly drunk kids drop them i have been going to moses since my three wheeler days and had to quite going about 5 years ago since they shut off camping in front of the lake and crowd all the people down to the east end talk about a mess if you want good sand go to oregon thats just my .02 cents
I agree, The Moses Dunes leave much to be desired. It's only about 1 hour further to go to Sand Lake Oregon and the sand and camping is WAY BETTER! Right on the ocean too.
