    Stock A-arms

Can Stock A-arms be powder coated? or is there something in the ball joint that would melt? we tested a banshee a arm and it looked like melted plastic came out, it hardened, i've never heard of grease hardening when heated

Okay, Thanks Pappy, on 400ex arms, can you cut off the old ball joints, and put aftermarket ball joints on em?

Hey Pappy, I know this can be done also but never exactly found out what all is needed to be done. Do you do it or know what is needed? Let us know, OK.

Just an update, I cut mine off, and got 4 right hand thread tie rod ends for a 1979 ford courier, there like 20 bucks a piece for moogs at napa or 10 bucks a piece for autozone brand, then I took the o.d. of the threads and the I.D. of the cut off a-arms, the bottom is bigger than the top , went to a local bearing sales place and bought bushings to put in, then Pc'd the arms all set!

Have any pics? Did you put a nut on each side of the arm (2 on each balljoint)?
