ok heres what it says in dirtwheels they used a GPS to do speed runs
stock honda 450r ran a top speed of 78.9 mph
stock YFZ450 ran a top speed of 78.3 mph
the fastest yfz running runing 16/36 sprockets and 20s ran 87.3 mph
the fastest honda running 15/36 sprockets and 22s ran 88.8 mph

The real question that everyone wants to know is which one is quicker to reach that top speed?
I think Honda really screwed up when they made the 450R a kick start instead of electric.

I wouldn't particularly look forward to kick starting a high compression 4 stroke after a full day of riding even if it does have compression relief. I think this is one of the reasons why the YFZ is favored over the 450R.
