    Poker run

    I went on my second poker run of the season Sunday. Brutal, brutal ride. But it was all worth it in the end, I got a trophie and a gift certificate for 35% off @ Devol Engineering. Big deal huh? Sorry but I just had to tell some one, this is my first trophie on the 400

    what exactly is a poker run race? I have never heard of it .
    2002 400ex - white brothers slip-on, ac racing skid plate,ac racing mud screen bumper, moose swing arm plate, trailtech speedometer, renthal bars, acerbis handguards, ac nerf bars w/ heelguards, K&N airfilter & K&N jet kit

    "what is a poker run race?"

    Well it really isn't a race at all. You ride over a set course, of a given distance, and at five check points along the route you draw a card. The check point official then puches that card on your score card. Rider with the best hand wins

    There are usually a lot of trophies given out, plus contigincy(sp) prizes. The grand prize is usally a trip for two to Reno or Vegas, at the ones put on around here. But for that prize to kick in they have to have over 200 riders in hte event.

    ok i saw one of those races on a highlights segment on the speed channel but I didn't catch what it was called thanks for replying.
