#4 Tim Farr had the inside line and was able to whip around the corner and take the Holeshot with #12 Keith Little close behind on his inside

Tim Farr and Keith Little were side by side as they headed to the face of the finish line double.

#77 Kenny Pacheco went down in the 3rd lap after casing the landing of a jump. He ended up injuring his ankle and was taken to the hospital for an evaluation

Meanwhile, Tim Farr was able to pull away from Keith Little and put several seconds between them with a few laps to go.

Keith Little kept it pinned trying to reel in Tim before the end of the heat, but Tim Farr never missed a beat and Keith finished the qualifier in 2nd place with #18 Jason Ware finishing 3rd.
